3 Ways to Maintain Health

Now that we are talking about how to get healthy, let's talk about some really clever ways to STAY where we are.

Here are 3 really simple ideas to remember to be able to keep up with your healthy habits:

1. Mince or crush fresh garlic and let it sit for 10 minutes before using it to cook with. A study in "Nutrition and Cancer" stated that Allicin, a cancer fighting compound in garlic, becomes more patent after garlic's cell walls are broken apart and this takes about ten minutes

2. Sprinkle sesame seeds onto your salad for a crunch but also for bone building calcium. You can make them "nuttier" in flavor by toasting them in the skillet for a few minutes prior

3. Make our omelet with the whole egg. The yolks contain most of the nutrients such as choline, a B vitamin that helps with memory.

Hopefully some of these simple steps and ideas will help add your healthy lifestyle over time!!
